Gender does not alter run pacing strategy in world-record–breaking events at championship and meet races, according to a study of all-time running world records in 800-meter, 1500-meter and 1-mile distances. The research is presented in the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health (2021; 18 [39], 12589).
